Vintage American Fostoria Elegant Glass Square Cake Plate Pedestal Stand & Rum Well! This is an elegant glass square cake stand manufactured by the Fostoria Glass Company. The Fostoria Glass Company started in 1887 in Fostoria, Ohio and produced some of the most elegant glassware around. This cake stand was produced during the 1950s and is a very beautiful piece of glassware history! Unfortunately, the Fostoria Glass Company closed its doors in 1986.
The design of this cake plate is heavy American Elegant Glass. It is a square cake plate with a scalloped rum well edge for when the rum is overflowing, and a round pedestal stand. The plate area measures 10 1/4" across and the cake stand is 7" tall. This piece is in EXCELLENT CONDITION with NO nicks, chips, or cracks! If you have any questions at all, please message me.
