A large cake or dessert plate designed in the Snowy Woods pattern, by the one and only Fitz and Floyd... There is no mistaking the quality, striking colors, or wonderful designs of this company.. This collection is very elegantly colored in primarily off white and green with gold ribbons... Colorful fruit bring touches of brilliant color to the elegant embossed patterns found on the pieces... On the cake plate, the base is an octagon shape and embellished with greens, applied leaves and fruit, and a wonderful large gold and offwhite bow. The top of the cakeplate is an octagon shape as well with impressed patterns decorated with gold highlights.

The cake plate stands 7" tall and 13" in diameter. I have a large number of Snowy Woods pieces that I will be listing soon.. While none of my other snowy woods pieces were ever used for serving food, I did display fruits on this piece for one year... They are stored in a temperature controlled room in my home that was built for my collection.. This set of pieces are in overall excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, chips...

A tiny amount of the brushed gold on the outer edge of the piece has been worn, but is not noticeable because the gold is not evenly applied.. It was brushed on with the intent of having the natural off white of the piece show through, so it is imperceptible..
