Antique Tiffany & Co Sterling Silver Pedestal Cake Plate Tazza Compote 8 1/2
Presented is an antique, sterling silver tazza or compote made by Tiffany & Company during the 1930s or the 1940s. The plate or dish is raised on a stout, pedestal base and it would be a wonderful cake display tray.
The rim is beautifully engraved with a band of flowers and leaves. The center has a script monogram of the initials AS. The underside bears the Tiffany & Company sterling silver hallmark used between 1907 and 1947. This piece is in excellent overall condition, especially considering age. There is minimal surface wear commensurate with age and use, but there are no damages and no repairs.
