A great little pedestal plate made by KPM in the early 20th century. It is hand painted in the Jugendstil style with a fancy design on the rim including little purple beads, an orange color as well as some nice gilding. A very unusual rim design and not one I have seen before incorporating the Seger colors which were pretty new around that time. The foot has the same design on it!
The center of the dish has a nice red currant scene including the leaves hand painted on it. The plate is in perfect condition.
It is 1.625 inches tall and 7.25 inches in diameter - perfect for some cookies : Marked underneath with the under glaze blue scepter and the red orb mark as well as the usual impressed and painter's marks.
