Uranium Oxide is added to the glass making it glow under a black light. The intricate detail of the Thistle blossoms on the top of this magnificent Cake Stand really accentuates the elegance of this breath taking piece made by Mosser Art Glass.

The Pineapple finial on the stem flares out to the footed base. There is a lovely creamy band of opalescent around the edge of the of the cake top as well as the base. It is in excellent condition with no chips, dings or repairs. It would make a wonderful muffin stand or petits fours pedestal. A lovely addition to your table setting!
