A lovely pair of antique pink ceramic porcelain footed compotes, pedestals, cake plates. These cake plates have a mark and signature on the bottom of one of the compotes. These compotes were made by TC Brown-Westhead, Moore & Co.
And most likely date from 1870, at Cauldon Place, Shelton, Staffordshire, England. Are the successors to John Ridgway at the Cauldon Works. Cauldron Eorks was located within Staffordshire Potteries. These compotes measure 6.5 inches tall, with a base of 4.5 inches in diameter, and the top measurement of the plate is 9.5 inches in diameter.These are in very good. Condition with the exception of a few blemishes: The first blemish is a darker-orangish light stain on the large part of the base of one of the pedestals.... The other pedestal has a crackling of the glaze on the foot and has a few very light chips in the pink paint.
